Chapter I of the dissertation is entitled “The Origin of the Civil War in Syria, Its Predisposing Factors and the Role of the United States”. This chapter presents the causes of the civil war and the main directions of the foreign policy pursued by the United States.
Chapter II of the dissertation is entitled “The Impact of the Syrian Conflict on Regional Powers and Cooperation”. This chapter discusses the political, economic and military-technical relations of the United States with the Gulf countries and Iran, as well as the development and regression processes occurring in its relations with Russia-Turkey-Israel during the civil war. One of the main issues addressed in this chapter was the progress of the Arab Spring processes in the Middle East towards Syria and the investigation of the US influence on these processes.
Chapter III of the dissertation is entitled “The Contemporary Relevance of the Syrian Crisis and Geopolitical Perspectives”. This chapter examines the relevance of the civil war and explains the relations between the US and Syria in the context of the modern era. In addition, the direction of resolving the Syrian crisis through diplomatic means, including the fall of the Assad regime, is systematically analyzed.
